Context
nLighten runs around 35 edge data centers in seven European countries. In Spain the brand is new: it has to become known to network operators, enterprises, investors and public authorities, and bring qualified contacts to the sales team.
I run digital marketing and communication for the Spanish market, and paid campaigns across Europe. Leads land in HubSpot, then move to Salesforce once qualified.
What I did
- Press relations, with the local agency: press releases (CEO appointment, nConnect launch in Spain, ReadyCabinet, a sovereign cloud proof of concept with Arqit), an op-ed in Ecoconstrucción, interviews with the Spanish management on energy and data center regulation.
- Events: The Wave Zaragoza, DCD Invest Madrid, ESNOG-35 and a customer event at our Madrid data center. Content preparation, on-site presence, then contact qualification.
- GEO: follow-up of an audit of nLighten's visibility in AI answer engines, to fix sources and make brand information more accurate.
- Multilingual content FR / EN / ES: website, LinkedIn, press releases, SEO and AEO-optimised articles.
- Demand generation: web forms connected to HubSpot and Salesforce, sponsored LinkedIn campaigns, funnel tracking up to the sales hand-off.
- Paid media Europe: LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns across the seven countries.
Results
- Regular coverage in Spanish business and trade media, including El Economista, El Plural, IT User and Data Center Market, for a combined audience of several million readers.
- nLighten now speaks as an industry voice on energy, digital sovereignty and data center regulation.
- Better-qualified inbound leads and LinkedIn campaigns above B2B benchmarks.
- Event conversations that lead to data center visits with enterprise accounts.
